Wake Up Jamie began in frontwoman Jessa Joyce’s childhood bedroom. The current iteration of the band took form in 2021. Since then, the band has cultivated a sound they call “glam emo,” influenced by artists like Bon Jovi, Jimmy Eat World, and Taylor Swift.
